I generally plan photo shoots with an intended purpose, but now and then I take a picture or two as the Muse directs. Here are a few odd shots that I have taken recently.
At the Westmoor Yard Sale

(We actually used the first three rows of the parking lot.)
TV Time

Dancing Partners

Feodora's other pictures can be seen in her galleries.

This is the first time that
Feodora has experienced the autumn season in Ohio, so I took her out to see some of the colors.

We look like we are going to a harvest festival!

I set my camera's auto exposure a litle darker.

I still had to tweak the gamma on a couple of these pictures.
There were 23 pictures in this set. I put only put four in
Feodora's gallery.

I did this set for the November 2011 Photo Challenge. The theme for this challenge is "Cornucopia" - a lot of what your doll has.
from:
http://ourdollcommunity.com/forum/index.php?topic=3303.msg37781#msg37781 The residents at the Westmoor apartments decorated a Christmas tree in the lobby. Since I will not be decorating the apartment, I took
Feodora out for a few pictures. Here are a few from that set.
Incred chose to do a theme of "Captions" for the December 2011 photo challenge. I took a few pictures for that, but I have not yet decided whether or not I will use them.
The "pie" pictures might be an easy mistake (not taking them out of the box), but the using percolator coffee in a cup in the microwave might be a bit too dumb. I might be able to use those pictures for some "do not do this at home" set later.
I could edit out the doll stand, but I am just too lazy. Besides, everyone here knows that she is a doll. If I wantedf to put these pictures up for sale, (which I might), then I would do the editing. Almost all of my pictures are straight from the camera. I doresize them for the internet, but that is all. Enjoy!

I got the idea for this from
Ceej's Winter Activities photo challenge theme.

"How much of the snow do you want me to shovel?"

"I think I will go visit
Pennie after I get done. She has a nice, warm fireplace!"
Warming up with coffee
"There is nothing like a cup of hot coffee to warm you up!"

"I wonder if noq bought any more Paczki. I would love one right now!"

from:
http://ourdollcommunity.com/forum/index.php?topic=3303.msg45489#msg45489 I had intended this for the photo challenge, but I was not satisfied with the results. There is a well-established mole colony in the back yard, and the ground is unstable. During the shoot,
Feodora tipped over and fell into the rose bush. Still, it is my fault that I placed the doll stand on shaky ground.
Feodora did her part just fine. I could have taken other shots, but I was disappointed that I let her fall. Her right arm and hand got quite a few thorns and scratches. The Sil-Poxy had partially cured in the tube, and I had to cut it open to get enough agent for the repairs. Luckily there was enough left to finish.

Feodora is watching a video of Russian Folk Song and Dance. I picked up this video at the library, and I thought she might like to see these pictures from the old country.
from:
http://ourdollcommunity.com/forum/index.php?topic=3303.msg46773#msg46773 I recently became a fan of
Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files book series.
Feodora picked one up, and now she wants the whole set!

The main character,
Harry Dresden, is a big fan of Burger King.
So not only does she have my lunch, but she is also reading a book that I have not finished, in my favorite chair! Egad!

I put Feodora back in the Sea Foam green set for a few days, but we did not go anywhere.
She bought herself a new summer dress, and wanted to show that off, too.

http://ourdollcommunity.com/forum/index.php?topic=3303.msg51027#msg51027Feodora with Bob and Fup
"Bob the Skull" is a character in
The Dresden Files series of novels and short stories. He is a 'spirit of intellect' that was trapped in a skull. He helps
Harry Dresden, a wizard and Private Investigator. Although he has no body, he is a bit of a sex fiend. "Fup Duck" was inspired by comments on the forum for that series.
I found an inexpensive skull ($3.97) amongst the Halloween goodies at Wal Mart. The 'spirit eyes' were made with a felt-tipped marker on scrap paper. I attached them with double-stick tape.
Bob the Skull and Fup Duck get a little personal attention from
Feodora. Click on images for larger pictures.

This top is a few years old, but it works well for an Autumn shoot.

The hat and badges came with an outfit that I bought for Dollstock 2012. The Western sytle black shirt was purchased separately.

These are the glasses that we use for our annual toast at
Dollstock (
2010 2011.) We thought it would be best to wash them just before we packed them for the trip.
Feodora: "Tell me again why
I have to wash the glasses for
my birthday party!"
noquiexis: "Your birthday is in November, dear. We celebrate your birthday now because this is when all of your doll sisters can get together. Besides, it is our vacation, and I am doing all the packing."
Feodora: "It is
my vacation, too! Did you forget about
that?"
noquiexis: "Of course not, dear, but who went on a
cruise with
Camp while I stayed here minding the store?"
Feodora: "Oh! That is right! You helped me pack my clothes then, too. I guess I should help out a little!"

The theme for the
Our Doll Community November 2012 photo challenge is "Change". So what should you expect from a fashion model?

from:
http://ourdollcommunity.com/forum/index.php?topic=3303.msg59344#msg59344 One of the things that make this a fun place to be is that we get so many good ideas from other people. This picture was inspired by a creation of our very own
Ceej!
School House Rock!
Feodora's fedora (
Avon) was a gift from
KA and
MrsC. The three tunics, the pink and the blue 'jeggings' (leggings that look like jeans), sunglasses, and jewelry are from
Avon. The black pants are by Sag Harbor (purchased locally). The black and red
Carlotta wigs were purchased through
Incred, who got them at a really good price! I got the hair decorations at Wal Mart.
The
Oak Grove School, an 1893 one-room brick schoolhouse was moved to the
Wildwood Preserve Metropark in 1998. The "Trio la Arimecibo" thought this would be a good place for their rehearsal. Unfortunately, park officials thought otherwise, and asked them to leave. Such is life!
from:
http://ourdollcommunity.com/forum/index.php?topic=3303.msg59377#msg59377 Get outta town! The "Trio la Arimecibo" perform on planet Mars! I always wanted to do a "Sands of Mars" shot.
b-man's way cool
Star Trek shot convinced me to go for it!
The girls are in a pressurized biodome with an invisible force field. That is why you cannot see it in the picture.

Matt Campbell and the
University of Toledo Rockets were clues on the
Jeopardy! quiz show. The day before that I took a few pictures of
Feodora dressed as a UT Rockets fan. Here are a couple of them. The boa was a gift from
Mrs_Ceej. She knows of my support for
Breast Cancer Awareness.
